Join Ashley Collette in a workshop designed to bring you into a deep state of opening and relaxation. This workshop includes both theory and practical components. An innovative moving meditation that involves attuned physical touch, Pranassage offers us a new way of being human with each other.
Pranassage is a synthesis of yoga and bodywork, and can be done one-on-one as a form of partner yoga. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to both give and receive the practice of pranassage. The focus of the practice is to play with the sense of gravity and slow awareness to the time in which the physical body rests. Some of the benefits of practicing pranassage are:
A release of blocked energy;
An expansion of range of motion; and
A deep state of relaxed awareness,
A feeling of surrender to the earths support beneath you.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels. You don't have to have a partner in order to register - you can work with someone else from the workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for yoga teachers to expand their knowledge of physical posture enhancements and the power of gravity and can add to their current practice of teaching.
